Elegant Encounters - Part Two Making life more than politics and food, THE WOMAN AND THE TEENAGER

THE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND THE TEENAGER

THE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN                               I had Mohs (Moehs?) Surgery yet again on Wednesday.  It's all but painless and I respect the skills of Dr. Bogart and her staff.

All went well as it always does.

As I checked out I looked at the staff member at the desk to my right. She had a most beautiful face, more lovely than I could ever imagine.

I stepped over to her desk.  After introducing and excusing myself I ventured to say "You have such a beautiful face"

She smiled and thanked me.  My words had been well received.

And yes.  No bull.  Many of the other front desk staff showed their delight in my observation.

THE TEENAGER

A bit later I was at the Dog Park with Mr C.  I looked at the parking space only to note that another dog owner had parked so close to me that it would be impossible to open the driver's door.

The obvious solution was to enter the car by the front passenger door and scooch over to the driver's seat.

It's a solution which requires the work of someone much less rotund than my pals and I

The slender ones appeared.  Just what we needed!  A courting couple, probably of late teenage years.

I'd seen and greeted them previously.  I asked if they could drive; and were they able to help me, both said yes.

As it happens it was the lad who took my car keys; entered the car from the wrong side; clambered over the middle -  backed my car out,  and parked it into a spot accessible to me.

As I offered my thanks I urged him to tell the story to his parents (so that they would know that they had raised a good lad!

Huzzahs!
