Zion's Jacaranda and the future
Sixten months ago, we planted an infant Jacaranda in remembrance of my gorgeous Zion
In St. Petersburg visiting friends Ron and Char
Everyone loved Zion. Yes everyone. His memory is a blessing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some may remember the tree had lower foliage. We came to realise that it was spawned by two suckers. Gardeners will know that suckers are so called because they suck (or steal) nutrients intended for the welfare of the main trunk.
Given time and toil Zion's tree should look like this
It's just down the road from my house. What a joy to see every day. ABUNDANCE IN AUTUMN!
It's more than likely that I'll not live long enough to see Zion's Jacaranda in all its fullness.
I didn't plant it for me alone. Future generations will be awed by its glory.
