Cooper's Seizures and one which scared me.
I wasn't sure whether or not my dear Cooper was having seizures.
During the first two I was tempted to judge that he was being a bit goofy (like the dogs which rest on its back and move as if they were running.)
The third had me scared. Cooper was resting on his side. Then the seizure began. He paddled his legs for all they were worth.
Then the foaming at the mouth began. 'Twas not a sight to be recorded.
That seizure warranted a speedy visit to the Vet. It was made for 10:15 a.m. the next day (Tuesday of this week)
Oh, what marvelous place is the Animal Hospital (my vet practice, up in Ellenton, FL )
They were full of skill and loving kindness when Zion died.
(That same skill and loving kindness was to the fore with Cooper yesterday).
Blood tests taken yesterday; and with an analysis by mid-morning today brought some relief, There is no sign of Epilepsy.
The good Dr. Sarah has prescribed a seizure prophylactic via my local "Walgreen's" pharmacy.
