Gratitude is a Good Attitude LXXXI

LXXX

Last year was the big one.  Some may remember the utterly wonderful time I had in England for my 80th birthday.

LXXXI

has been in a lower key  (perhaps)

The day started out well when I had my phone fixed at the Apple Store -  in and out in ten minutes  (BRAVO APPLE).  I'd been frustrated because I could not use the 'phone on my birthday.

Apple's good work  (free) opened the door to 'phone calls, text messages etc  Thus I was able to speak with dear family members, and others.

Thanks to Facebook and e-mail I received greetings from nearly 100 friends. I enjoyed each one. Social Media indeed!

I enjoyed a simple lunch (my request) with my friends Donna, Ashley and Guzzetta.  Vichyssoise, Pizza and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

As the day wound down I had super and long conversations with  friends in Oregon, Georgia, Alaska and Massachusetts.

Alleuia!  Birthdays = Connection.

Mr C enjoyed it all.
